Springtime in the city

Before I launch into blogging our NEXT trip, here are some photos from March, April and May, when we...

Hosted brunches...

Hung out with cool kids...

Visited the Aquarium...

Watched the neighbours...

Went to drop-in play gym...

Befriended the landlords' dog...

Looked at flowers...

Went for a hike...

(with friends)...

Sat in puddles...

Oohed and ahhed over cherry blossoms...

Got a scraped nose from a topple...

Played in the cupboard a lot...

Splashed around in the backyard...

Looked effortlessly gorgeous...

Went to our favourite park regularly...

Met lots of dogs...

DIDN'T go into the forest...

...except to take this photo...

Played trains...

Splashed around in the backyard some more...

Did nerdy stuff...

Explored the park...

Got a bike with a baby seat...

Went riding...

Went to the playground some more...

Had friends over some more...

Celebrated Mother's Day...

Played disc golf...

(at 8pm, mind you!)...

Enjoyed a lovely 3-day visit from Bree...

Went riding some more...

Tried new things at the playground...

Climbed onto things...

Climbed into things...

Planted some veggies...

Watered the garden...

Read books...

Stood in puddles...

Tried out the new scooter...

Colour coordinated outfits...

And, of course, did housework!

:D

Canadian Thanksgiving

For Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday, October 14th, we met up with some friends at the Lower Seymour Conservation Area in North Vancouver to work up an appetite for our turkey dinner. Helene, Chloe, Ben, Finley and I went for a hike around Alice Lake, while John, Stuart, Rosanne, Aydin and Gemma went for a bike ride.

All that walking is tiring!

Afterwards, we went to Stuart and Rosanne's house for a delicious Thanksgiving feast and accompanying fun, music, and great company.
