The most exciting thing we witnessed was a long-haired guy getting escorted off the field by two security guards, but then trying to make a run for it, struggling with the security guards in a pile-up on the ground, some random guys from the audience joining the fray to help the guards, audience members filming and taking photos and being told not to by other audience members, someone calling the police, the guy eventually ending up face-down in the dirt and shouting "help, help", an off-duty policeman from the audience reading him his rights from a little card, and then two police officers arriving, handcuffing him, and leading him away. By the way, this all happened about 5 metres away from our blanket; we kind of forgot about the music for a while...
Here are the photos of the festival!

Not sure about the stringy chips!!!! Great to get up to date again on your adventures. Keep up the good work.
oh you must get Ayla to take you to the caribbean festival over at North Van, we had a great time, mainly just observing all the weirdos! P.S. Do not judge poutine until you have tried it at Boston Pizza....yummmmm!
Fun... I like the idea of music festivals, but the "music" that some people play is NOT my cup-o'-tea - especially in the Jazz category... What a fun day tho... and I've never had poutine either - looks tasty tho!
