Tandem touring

This week we had Megan and Justin staying with us. They are friends from NZ (Justin's a Kiwi; Megan's from Wolloongong) who are en route to live in Edmonton for a while. They arrived on Monday night and headed off to Seattle today (Saturday) for their Alaska cruise. It's been great fun having them around!

Last night we headed into downtown Vancouver to cycle around the seawall in Stanley Park, a popular activity for locals and tourists alike. The four of us hired two tandem bicycles, and met up soon afterwards with Stuart, Rosanne, and Rosanne's niece Briley on their own bikes. It was a gorgeous evening and Stanley Park is just beautiful. Here's the proof...

And a little video...

Afterwards, we enjoyed some fruit/chocolate and frozen yoghurt creations from Qoola on Denman St, then sat at English Bay looking out over the water for a while. Have I mentioned that we love living here?!! :D
