The night Delle arrived - Thursday, December 8th - we got straight into the white Christmas spirit by taking her to the second annual
Vancouver Christmas Market (click
here to read about our visit to the first one last year).
It was a fun evening of quaint European-style market stalls, carol singers, delicious food (pulled pork baked potato and black forest baked apple for us), and glühwein. We met up with a few friends, ate dinner, watched Gerard take Claire on the carousel, and wandered through an indoor display of amazingly intricate (and some amazingly expensive!) Christmas ornaments.

I like Christmas markets, too! The glass ornaments come from a town in Germany where we stayed with my family - Rothenberg ob der Tauber!
