Transatlantic cruise, Post 6: La Palma, Canary Islands

Our third port of call, on Day 5, was La Palma, one of the Canary Islands, which are part of Spain but are off the west coast of Africa. This was our last time on land before setting off on our 6-day voyage across the Atlantic. We spent a few hours wandering through the cobbled streets and the clothing and souvenir shops on Isla de La Palma. I liked the balconies on many of the buildings - somewhat wonky, portruding structures that can be seen in some of the photos below...
