We wandered through the tourist shops, a small market where there were lots of handbags and some guys doing awesome wood carvings, and a few back streets as well. One of our favourite sights was the policeman directing traffic below! Nassau had a nice laidback island atmosphere and was definitely a great place to visit!

Transatlantic cruise, Post 7: Nassau, Bahamas
After our 6-day stretch crossing the Atlantic, our fourth port of call was Nassau, on New Providence Island in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. (Remember the song The Sloop John B - "around Nassau town we did roam"?) This was definitely my favourite port of call, and it was also the only one where we had sunny blue skies!
