NYC Highlights, Post 6: Central Park

Another highlight of our week in New York was a walk through Central Park one misty afternoon/ evening. The park is enormous - 843 acres, or 4.1km x 830m - and right in the middle of Manhattan, surrounded by skyscrapers. Here are some pics...



We found (and threw) some large snowballs...



Loved the stonework and tiles on the bridge near the fountain...



Spotted the boathouse across the partially frozen lake...



And saw the ice skating rink and the impressive Manhattan skyline at night...



Pretty isn't it? Imagine what the park would look like in summer!! :)
